Natasha Tracy

The Uninvisible Podcast recently interviewed me, Natasha Tracy, and, honestly, I'm honored. Lauren Freedman, the host of The Uninvisible Podcast, gave me a chance to talk about what it's really like to live with bipolar disorder and my personal history battling with the treatment of bipolar disorder, and, quite frankly, I made her laugh out loud. We taped the podcast at the HLTH Conference, where we both received WEGO Health Awards. If you'd like to know more about my personal story and what made our sound tech sit up in rapt attention, this podcast is for you.

She's a fellow spoonie diagnosed with, among other things, Hashimoto's disease and she wishes to share information, inspiration, and comfort while advocating for greater awareness among friends, family, coworkers, and society at large.

Lauren won the WEGO Health Award for Best Podcast -- and seriously, you should check her out to see why. She's got interviews with all sorts of people in the invisible illness community like these folks dealing with mental health issues:

  • Ariel L. of @carpe_that__diem -- an activist who blogs about living in a disabled, trans, agender body, having a cluster B personality disorder, working with an SD (service dog) and death positivity

And more than 50 other amazing people who talk about their stories of survival in spite of all manner of illness and challenges.
